J-Bay Tourny
The Seventh Annual Jamaica Bay Kayak Fishing Tournament is Saturday, May 15th, 2010 @ Floyd Bennett Field, Brooklyn, NY. A catch and release format tournament with all proceeds from the event going to Casting For Recover a national non-profit support and educational program for women who have or have had breast cancer.
Registration also get you camping privilages from the 13th to the 16th. If your thinking about getting into the sport its worth the trip over to see and talk to all the great and helpful people about kayak fishing and see first hand what its all about, theirs a also a demo day on the Friday. If you just got into to the sport and dont feel your ready for the tournament, this is the perfect event to start out with or at the least go and get ideas. Rules and registration
